Jumpstart front card: Milling

Why does this deck exist?
I found an Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and thought it looked pretty cool, and then wondered what kind of deck it could go in. Long story short, now I spend way too much money on cardboard.

What’s the MVP?
Eater of the Dead. It has milled out multiple people. At once. With lethal damage to it on the stack.

– Fleet Swallower, Maddening Cacophony, and Traumatize all mill half a library. Bruvac, Fraying Sanity, and Keening Stone all double how many cards get milled. Zach Galifianakis Maths gif.
– Mindcrank says “losing life = mill”. Bloodchief Ascension and Duskmantle Guildmade both say “mill = losing life”. 🔄
– Cards like Consuming Aberration are even better than they look because they mill someone with the Phenax ability, get bigger, get untapped, then mill even more.
– Holding a Didn’t Say Please in hand is instant comedy. “I cast X.” “Say that again.” “I cast X?” “Sorry, you didn’t say please.”
